Privacy Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
RealtorAuctions does not have user accounts, does not ask for your name or email, and does not sell or share personal information for advertising. This page explains what is recorded when you use the site.
1. What RealtorAuctions records
When your browser asks RealtorAuctions's server for listings, property details or results, the server records:
- the date and time, what was requested (for example, which county or property), and how many results were returned;
- your IP address and the first part of your browser's user-agent string (browser and device type).
We use this to keep the site running, to spot abuse, and to see overall usage. To enforce rate limits, the server also keeps a small file, named with a hash of your IP address, that lists the times of your recent requests. These records are kept on the server and are not currently deleted on a fixed schedule. Our hosting provider may keep its own standard server logs.
2. Stored in your browser
RealtorAuctions does not set cookies. It saves two preferences in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme and the last county you picked. They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
3. Third-party services
Pages on RealtorAuctions load some files from other companies. Like any website, those services receive your IP address and browser information when your browser contacts them, and they handle it under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com): typefaces;
- cdnjs / Cloudflare (cdnjs.cloudflare.com): icons and the map library;
- OpenStreetMap tile servers: map images on the listings map and property pages.
Links to Google Maps, county websites, Buy Me a Coffee and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
To look up property data, RealtorAuctions's server (not your browser) contacts public sources such as county sheriff sale listings, county and state parcel systems, and the US Census geocoder. Those requests contain the property being looked up, not information about you.
4. Information about people in public records
Listings show names and addresses that appear in public sheriff sale and parcel records, such as plaintiffs, defendants, owners and buyers. RealtorAuctions displays them as published by the official source. To ask for a correction or removal of information about you on RealtorAuctions, email us (below). We can't change the official record; that has to go through the agency that keeps it.
5. Sharing
We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose server records if required by law, or to protect the site and its users from abuse.
6. Children
RealtorAuctions is meant for adults researching property and is not directed at children under 13.
7. Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
